Salzman Discusses New Attitude
Top level plans for the future
of the Company and the Division
were revealed to members of the
Uniroyal Chemical Management
Club recently in an address delivered by Sheldon R. Salzman,
President of Uniroyal Chemical.
Mr. Salzman opened by asserting we are now in a period of
dynamic change and stimuli,
generating changes in marketing

discontinuing the manufacture of PANA.
Since it held a large share of the market,
the demand for a new supply was evident. Because the NaugardĀ® Chemical
plant had the technology, equipment and
capacity for production, plans were made
to supply the additional to the market.
Production Started
Production started last September in
Bdg. 23 utilizing one of the IJF autodiacetyl systems.
Approximately 90,000 Ibs. of PANA
